FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many sessions will I need?

Most people begin with a series of three sessions within 10 to 14 days to allow the body space to unwind and integrate.

While some feel a shift after just one visit—like a sense of calm, ease, or reduced discomfort—lasting change typically happens over time. This work meets the body where it’s at, and deeper, more permanent shifts unfold in layers.

Healing is not a linear path—it moves in spirals, in seasons.

After your initial three sessions, we’ll reassess and create a rhythm that supports your ongoing restoration—whether that’s weekly, fortnightly, or seasonally.

What happens during a session? Is there manipulation or cracking?

There are no manipulations, cracking, or intense pressure used. Instead, we work with the body’s own intelligence—using light, precise contact to invite release and realignment from within.

You’ll remain fully clothed for your session. Just wear soft, comfortable clothing to allow ease of access and movement. The work is gentle and grounded in subtle listening—not invasive or forceful and gentle touch

Is this safe if I’ve had spinal surgery or other injuries?

Yes. This approach is very gentle and supportive, making it safe for those recovering from spinal or neck surgeries. It helps unwind compensation patterns and brings relief to areas that have been holding tension long after the initial trauma has passed.

What if I feel amazing after a session but discomfort returns later?

That’s completely natural. In the early stages, the body may revert to old holding patterns as a form of protection. With continued sessions and supportive lifestyle changes, those patterns gradually unwind, creating lasting change rather than temporary relief.

Why did my pain shift from one place to another?

This is a common sign that deeper integration is happening. As one area lets go, previously compensated regions may begin to speak up. It’s all part of the body’s reorganization process—your system is recalibrating to a new state of balance.

I felt sore or emotional after a session—is that normal?

Yes. Sometimes, as circulation increases and numb areas reawaken, discomfort or emotion may surface. This is a sign your nervous system is releasing held tension. It’s often brief and followed by a new sense of clarity, presence, or ease.
Why did I experience digestive or elimination changes?

The lower back and pelvis are deeply connected to the nerves that regulate digestion. As tension releases in these areas, you may notice shifts in bowel movements or detox symptoms. This is typically short-lived and can be a sign of the body recalibrating.

What conditions can this help with?

This work can support a wide range of issues, including:
• Chronic muscular tension or pain
• Sciatica and nerve-related discomfort
• Postural imbalances and disc irritation
• Headaches and migraines
• Emotional holding or overwhelm
• Nervous system fatigue or burnout
How does this support long-term healing?

Rather than forcing change, this work helps your body remember its own natural alignment. Over time, clients often experience better posture, deeper breath, less reactivity, more ease in movement, and a profound sense of coming home to themselves.
